Laekenois Agility Title

Congratulations to Marilyn Harris and Vanrusselhof Asanne (AI) who gained thier JD (Jumpers) agility title recently.  The first female Laekenois to be awarded any agility title in Australia.  Well done to you both!

Dayboro Champ Show - Judge Ms MA Brocious (USA)

A very busy week travelling to Sydney for work arriving home late Friday night than up at the crack of dawn on Saturday for the Dayboro Champ show.  Malinois Vanrusselhof Beach Bronze Ausy "Aussie" had his first show in Minor class and came away with a 7 point Best of Breed and a lovely Minor in Group win.  The judge  Ms MA Brocious (USA) commented on his lovely movement which she stated is hard to find in the Malinois variety (which she has judged frequently overseas).  Laekenois Vanrusselhof Crimped N Curled "Cindy" also make her show debut and managed to keep 4 feet on the ground 'some' of the time which was a miracle.  Also congratulations to Jacinta Luck and Aust CH Vanrusselhof Aaron HIC (AI) who won Best of Breed Laekenois.  Well done Jacinta & Aro!

Huge congrats to Michelle Daniels and Vanrusselhof Vienna BH OB1 who gained their VPG1 title 83:86:85 with pronounced Fight Drive rating, High in Trial and High in Trial Obedience :-)  Well done!

New TR2 Schutzhund Tracking Title

Another congratulations in order for Karyn Worth and Vanrusselhof Kruegar IPO3 who gained their TR2 tracking title with an awesome score of 97 and High in Trial tracking - Well done Karyn and Freddie!

Laekenois in Agility!

Congratulations to Marilyn Harris & Laekenois Vanrusselhoff Asanne (AI). Sanne competed in her first Agility trial in the weekend, and came 3rd in Novice Jumping with a quallie and 22 seconds under time. Sanne is 19 months old. Well done Marilyn & Sanne! :-)

Attended the Mia Skogster seminar hosted by the Metro Sport Dog Club.  Along with an impressive string of other achievements Mia happens to be the winner of the FMBB Schutzhund World Championships in 2010 with her Malinois Helge.  An interesting and informative seminar with lots of great information and new ideas.

D2 working litter has arrived!

Vanrusselhof Kruegar IPO3 X Aust CH Vanrusselhof Xanadu HIC (IID)

After swapping notes with her Mum Ellis (who was 3 days late) Party whelps a litter of 6 healthy puppies 3M 2F (4 days late) partly in the car on the way to have a c-section!  Both Mum and puppies are doing very well.  Between Party and the recent weather/flooding I am definitely in need of professional car valet!!!  Visit our puppy page for more information.

Thank you so much to everyone who sent texts, e-mails or phoned to see if we were OK during the recent floods it is much appreciated.  We have been flooded in for several days but apart from that are safe and well!  My heart goes out to others who have not faired so well....
